Enterococcus durans

Enterococcus durans is a species of Enterococcus.<ref name="pmid11972684">,

It is a Gram-positive, catalase- and oxidase-negative, coccus bacterium. The organism is also a facultative anaerobe.<ref>Fisher K, Phillips C. The ecology, epidemiology and virulence of Enterococcus. Microbiology. 2009;155(6):1749-1757. doi:10.1099/mic.0.026385-0.</ref> Prior to 1984, it was known as Streptococcus durans.
