The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System is a Veterans Affairs hospital located in North Las Vegas, Nevada. It is operated by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. The hospital opened on August 14, 2012, making it the first newly constructed VA hospital to open since 1995. The construction of the hospital cost $600 million.
The facility provides 90 beds, a 120-bed nursing home, and an outpatient care center. It is situated on a 151-acre site and spans over 1,000,000 square feet. The hospital was formally dedicated on August 6, 2012, and all planned services were made available to patients.
Access to the hospital is available through car and van service, as well as the DVX route offered by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, which operates from the Bonneville Transit Center.
