Catecholaminergic refers to cells that produce, use or are affected by catecholamines, a group of hormones that includes dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. These hormones are produced in the adrenal glands and are crucial for the body's response to stress or danger, often referred to as the "fight or flight" response.

Production and Function[edit]
