The Bristol Activities of Daily Living Scale (BADLS) is a tool used to assess the ability of older adults to perform activities of daily living (ADLs). ADLs are basic self-care tasks such as dressing, bathing, and eating. The BADLS is a simple questionnaire that assesses the ability to perform these tasks and assigns a score based on the individual's level of independence. This tool is often used in geriatric research and clinical practice, to track changes in functioning over time, and to evaluate interventions to improve the functional status of older adults.
