Atherleigh Park Hospital is a mental health facility located in Leigh, Greater Manchester, England. It is managed by the North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

History[edit]

Atherleigh Park Hospital was officially opened in March 2017, replacing the previous mental health facilities at Leigh Infirmary. The hospital was built with the aim of providing a modern, state-of-the-art facility for mental health care in the region.

Facilities[edit]

The hospital has a capacity of 48 inpatient beds, divided into two wards: the Humphrey Booth ward for older people, and the Atherleigh ward for adults of working age. The hospital also houses the Garden City community mental health team.
