Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College

Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (KCMUCo) is a constituent college of the Tumaini University Makumira in Tanzania, dedicated to providing comprehensive medical education, research, and healthcare services. Established in 1997, KCMUCo is located in Moshi, at the foothills of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. It was established through the collaborative efforts of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT), the Government of Tanzania, and a consortium of overseas partners. This partnership aimed to leverage the existing infrastructure and expertise of the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC), a leading referral hospital in the area, to create a center of excellence in medical education and research.
