The Ledbury is a two Michelin star restaurant located in Notting Hill, London. It is renowned for its innovative and sophisticated cuisine, and is considered one of the best restaurants in the world.
History[edit]
The Ledbury was opened in 2005 by Australian chef Brett Graham. Graham had previously worked at the acclaimed restaurant, The Square, where he won the Young Chef of the Year award. The Ledbury quickly gained a reputation for its exceptional food and service, and was awarded its first Michelin star in 2006. It received its second Michelin star in 2010.
Cuisine[edit]
The cuisine at The Ledbury is modern European with an emphasis on British ingredients. The menu changes regularly to reflect the seasons and the availability of local produce. Signature dishes include flame grilled mackerel with smoked eel, Celtic mustard and shiso; and roast pigeon with plum, red vegetables and leaves.
Awards and Recognition[edit]
In addition to its two Michelin stars, The Ledbury has received numerous other awards and accolades. It has been named one of the top 50 restaurants in the world by the prestigious San Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants list, and has been awarded four AA Rosettes.
