Kunming Medical University (KMU) is a medical school located in Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province, China. Established in 1933, it has evolved into a comprehensive medical university offering a wide range of programs in 13 schools and colleges.

History

Kunming Medical University was originally established as the Yunnan Provincial College of Medicine in 1933. It was later renamed as Kunming Medical College in 1956, and finally received its current name in 1993.
