History

Sealtest Dairy was founded in the early 20th century as part of the National Dairy Products Corporation. The corporation was a consolidation of several independent dairy companies, with Sealtest serving as one of its primary brands. In 1986, Kraft Foods Inc. was formed from the National Dairy Products Corporation. However, the Sealtest brand was not included in this transition and was instead sold to Borden Inc. in the same year. Borden continued to operate the Sealtest brand until 1999, when it was acquired by the Canadian dairy cooperative, Agropur.
