Ministry of Health (Denmark)
The Ministry of Health (Denmark) is a Danish government ministry responsible for health policy and healthcare services in Denmark. The ministry is led by the Minister for Health, who is appointed by the Prime Minister. The current Minister for Health is Magnus Heunicke.
History[edit]
The Ministry of Health was established in 1916 as the Ministry of Interior Affairs and Health. In 2007, it was renamed the Ministry of Health and Prevention, and in 2011, it was renamed again to the Ministry of Health.
Responsibilities[edit]
The Ministry of Health is responsible for a wide range of health-related issues, including:
