Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Hebrew: טבע תעשיות פרמצבטיות בע"מ) is a multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Petah Tikva, Israel. It specializes in generic and proprietary pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients. It is the largest generic drug manufacturer in the world and one of the 15 largest pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

Teva's facilities are located in Israel, North America, Europe, Australia and South America. Teva shares are listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The company is a member of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).

Products[edit]

Teva's main products are generic drugs and specialty medicines, with products used in a wide range of medical disciplines including neurology, oncology, pain, respiratory, women's health and urology.

Teva has been involved in a number of controversies and legal cases, including allegations of price fixing, bribery, and patent infringement.
