Naval Air Command Sub Aqua Club

Naval Air Command Sub Aqua Club (NACSAC) is a scuba diving club affiliated with the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC). The club is based in the United Kingdom and is primarily composed of members from the Royal Navy's Air Command.

History

The Naval Air Command Sub Aqua Club was established in the mid-20th century, during a period of increased interest in underwater diving and exploration. The club was formed with the aim of promoting safe and responsible scuba diving among members of the Royal Navy's Air Command.

Activities

NACSAC offers a range of activities for its members, including regular diving trips both in the UK and abroad. The club also provides training courses for beginners and advanced divers, following the BSAC's nationally recognised training programme.

In addition to scuba diving, members of NACSAC are also involved in a variety of other underwater activities, such as underwater archaeology and marine conservation.

Affiliation

As a branch of the BSAC, NACSAC follows the same training and safety guidelines as other BSAC clubs. The club is also affiliated with the Royal Navy, and many of its members are serving or former members of the Navy's Air Command.
