Chlamydiota is a phylum of bacteria that includes the genus Chlamydia, which contains species that are pathogenic to humans and other animals.

The phylum Chlamydiota is composed of intracellular obligate parasites that are found in a wide range of hosts, including humans, other mammals, birds, and reptiles.
