Transporter associated with antigen processing - antigen peptide transporter 1 (808 aa, ~87 kda) is encoded by the human tap1 gene. This protein plays a role in cytoplasmic antigen transport and subsequent presentation by mhc class I molecules. See antigen peptide transporter 1
