Journal of Clinical Psychology is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes papers in the field of Clinical Psychology. The journal's editor is Stephen N. Haynes (University of Hawaii). It has been in publication since 1945 and is currently published by John Wiley & Sons.
Scope
The Journal of Clinical Psychology covers research, theory, and practice in clinical psychology. It publishes original contributions on the following topics: the development, validity, and use of techniques of diagnosis and treatment of disordered behavior; studies of a variety of populations that have clinical interest, including but not limited to medical patients, ethnic minorities, persons with serious mental illness, and community samples; studies of a variety of treatment strategies, including both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology; and studies of psychosocial aspects of health behaviors.

The journal is abstracted and indexed in, among other databases: SCOPUS, PsycINFO, and the Social Science Citation Index. According to the Journal Citation Reports, its 2019 impact factor is 2.384, ranking it 77 out of 131 journals in the category ‘Psychology, Clinical’.
