GDCM (Grassroots DICOM) is an open-source, cross-platform library for the handling of DICOM files, which are used for storing and transmitting medical imaging data. GDCM is written in C++ and provides a wide range of features for reading, writing, and manipulating DICOM files, including support for various compression methods, image manipulation, and conversion to other file formats.
