An EmPATH (Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Assessment Treatment and Healing) unit is a specialized mobile unit that provides mental health services to individuals in crisis. These units are typically staffed by a team of mental health professionals and are equipped to provide assessment, treatment, and referrals for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. EmPATH units are often used in situations where traditional mental health services are not available or accessible, such as in rural or underserved areas or during natural disasters.
