The X-Men are a fictional team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The X-Men were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and first appeared in The X-Men #1 in 1963. The series introduced the original team of X-Men, consisting of Professor X, Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Angel, and Iceman, and their archenemy, Magneto.
Fictional team biography[edit]
