Whitestone Hospital was a defunct general hospital located in the Whitestone neighborhood of Queens, New York. It was originally a 103-bed hospital and served as a healthcare facility for births, deaths, and other medical needs. The hospital had notable patients, including John A. Lynch, a senator and former mayor of New Brunswick, who passed away at Whitestone Hospital in 1978.
The hospital, also known as Whitestone General Hospital, was built on a property that was previously a farm. A nearby tower from that time period has been landmarked. Whitestone Hospital was operated by different partnerships throughout its history.
