Traumatology is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal that covers research in the field of traumatology. The editor-in-chief is Charles R. Figley (Tulane University). The journal was established in 1995 and is currently published by SAGE Publications.

Traumatology was established in 1995. The journal is dedicated to the enhancement of the knowledge and skills of its readers, and all those who interact with trauma victims and survivors in the roles of caregiver, professional helper, crisis responder, or family member.
