The Frontierland Shootin' Arcade opened on October 1, 1971, as one of the original attractions of the Magic Kingdom. It was designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the creative division of The Walt Disney Company responsible for designing and building Disney theme parks and attractions.

The Frontierland Shootin' Arcade is themed to resemble a classic Old West shooting gallery.
