Rick Stanton is a British cave diver known for his significant contributions to cave diving and underwater rescue operations. He is particularly renowned for his role in the Tham Luang cave rescue in 2018, where he played a crucial part in the successful extraction of twelve boys and their football coach from a flooded cave in Thailand.

Stanton, along with his diving partner John Volanthen, was among the first to locate the trapped group. Their efforts, along with those of many others, led to the successful rescue of all thirteen individuals.
