Fever-Tree

Fever-Tree is a British producer of premium drink mixers, founded by Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow in 2004. The company's name comes from the colloquial name for the cinchona tree, the bark of which produces quinine, a key ingredient for tonic.

History

Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow founded Fever-Tree in 2004. The two entrepreneurs saw a gap in the market for high-quality mixers to accompany premium spirits, which were growing in popularity. They believed that the cheap, sweet mixers available at the time, such as tonic water, were letting down the spirits they were mixed with.
