Looney Tunes is an American series of animated short films produced by Warner Bros. from 1930 to 1969 during the golden age of American animation, alongside its sister series Merrie Melodies.
History[edit]
Looney Tunes was created by Warner Bros. to compete with Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse cartoon series. The series introduced many of the company's most famous cartoon characters, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Tweety, Sylvester the Cat, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin the Martian, Tasmanian Devil, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote and many others.
