Britvic is a British producer of soft drinks. Founded in the mid-19th century, it is currently one of the leading soft drink companies in the UK, boasting a wide range of popular brands.
History[edit]
Britvic was established in the 1860s as the British Vitamin Products Company. It started producing fruit juices in 1938 and was renamed Britvic in 1949. The company has since expanded its product range and now owns a number of well-known brands, including Robinsons, Tango, and J2O.
Products[edit]
Britvic's product range includes carbonated drinks, fruit juices, and bottled water. Some of its most popular brands are:
- Robinsons: A range of fruit cordials and ready-to-drink fruit juices. Robinsons is perhaps best known for its association with the Wimbledon Championships, where it has been the official soft drink since 1935.
- Tango: A carbonated soft drink available in a variety of fruit flavors. Tango is known for its distinctive advertising campaigns.
- J2O: A still soft drink made from fruit juices. J2O is marketed as a premium product and is often used as a mixer in alcoholic drinks.
Operations[edit]
Britvic operates in the UK and Ireland, France, and Brazil. It also exports its products to over 50 countries worldwide. The company's headquarters are located in Hemel Hempstead, England.
