Miss Vickie's is a Canadian brand of potato chips owned by Frito-Lay. The brand was founded in 1987 by Vickie and Bill Kerr in Newmarket, Ontario. Vickie Kerr and her husband, Bill Kerr, started Miss Vickie's in 1987 on their potato farm in Newmarket, Ontario. In 1993, Miss Vickie's was acquired by Frito-Lay, a subsidiary of PepsiCo. Despite the acquisition, the brand has maintained its commitment to quality and continues to use the same kettle-cooking method that made it popular.
