Journal of Medical Virology is a peer-reviewed medical journal that publishes research on all aspects of virology. It is published by Wiley-Blackwell and the editor-in-chief is Paula K. Pitha (Johns Hopkins University). The journal was established in 1977 and is published monthly.

Scope[edit]

The Journal of Medical Virology covers all areas of human virology, including viral pathogenesis, virus-host interactions, and viral epidemiology. It publishes original research articles, reviews, and short communications. The journal also publishes special issues on specific topics in virology.
