Midleton Very Rare[edit]

Midleton Very Rare is a premium blended Irish whiskey produced by the Midleton Distillery, in County Cork, Ireland. It is considered one of the most exclusive whiskeys ever produced in Ireland.

History[edit]

The Midleton Distillery began producing Midleton Very Rare in 1984. The distillery itself has a rich history dating back to the 1820s. The whiskey is named after the town of Midleton, where the distillery is located.

Production[edit]

Midleton Very Rare is a blend of single pot still and single grain whiskeys. The whiskey is triple distilled and aged in hand-selected, seasoned American Oak barrels for a minimum of 12 years. The selection of whiskeys used in the blend varies each year, making each annual release unique.

Tasting Notes[edit]

Midleton Very Rare is known for its smooth and complex flavor profile. It typically exhibits notes of ripe fruit, vanilla, and a hint of oak. The finish is long and satisfying, with a warmth that lingers on the palate.

Availability and Packaging[edit]

Midleton Very Rare is released annually in limited quantities. Each bottle is individually numbered and signed by the Master Distiller. The whiskey is presented in a wooden box, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Awards and Recognition[edit]

Over the years, Midleton Very Rare has received numerous awards and accolades for its exceptional quality. It is often regarded as one of the finest Irish whiskeys available on the market.
