After Susannah's death in 1886, her sons took over the business and in 1887, they renamed it to S. Oland, Sons and Co. The brewery was destroyed by the Halifax Explosion in 1917, but was rebuilt at its current location in Saint John, New Brunswick in 1928. The company was renamed Moosehead Breweries in 1947.
