Thornhill Hospital is a general health facility located in Townhead Street, Thornhill, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. It is managed by NHS Dumfries and Galloway.
History[edit]
Thornhill Hospital was established in 1901 as an infectious diseases hospital. The facility was designed by Evan Tweedie and provided accommodation for nurses. In 1948, the hospital became part of the National Health Service.
