Entomophthorales is an order of fungi within the phylum Zygomycota. This order is known for its pathogenic species that infect insects and other arthropods. The Entomophthorales are unique among fungi in their ability to actively discharge their spores, which are then spread by the wind to new hosts.

The Entomophthorales are divided into two families: the Entomophthoraceae and the Meristacraceae. The Entomophthoraceae includes the genera Entomophthora, Pandora, Zoophthora, Erynia, and Conidiobolus. The Meristacraceae includes the genera Meristacrum and Basidiobolus.
