Winchell's Donut House is an international doughnut company, founded by Verne Winchell on October 8, 1948, in Temple City, California. Currently headquartered in City of Industry, California, Winchell's Donuts is one of the West Coast's largest doughnut chains, with over 170 units in 6 states and Guam, along with units in other countries.

Verne Winchell established Winchell's Donuts in 1948. The company expanded rapidly and at its peak had over 1,000 stores worldwide. In 1961, Winchell's Donuts was sold to Denny's. In 1987, Denny's was sold to a private investment group, which included Winchell's Donuts. The company has since continued to grow and expand, maintaining a strong presence in the Western United States and abroad.

Winchell's Donuts offers a wide variety of doughnuts, including traditional favorites such as glazed and chocolate-covered, as well as unique offerings like maple bars and apple fritters. In addition to doughnuts, Winchell's also serves bagels, muffins, croissants, and sandwiches. The company is also known for its coffee, which is freshly brewed throughout the day.
