==How vision works?==<br />
The following 7 steps help us see the objects that we visually see though our eyes.<br />

# Step 1: The light passes through the [[cornea]] which is shaped like a dome and bends light to help the eye focus.<br />
<br />
# Step 2. This light enters the eye through an opening called the [[pupil]] <br />
<br />
Note that the iris controls how much light the pupil lets in.<br />

# Step 3: Light passes through the [[lens]] <br />
<br />
# Step 4: The lens works together with the cornea to focus light correctly on the retina.<br />

# Step 5: When light hits the [[retina]], special cells called photoreceptors turn the light into electrical signals.<br />

# Step 6: These electrical signals travel from the retina through the optic nerve to the brain. <br />

# Step 7: Then the brain turns the signals into the images you see.<br />
