It is smaller than the [[supraorbital nerve]], and exits the [[orbit]] between the [[pulley]] of the [[superior oblique]] and the [[supraorbital nerve]].<br /> <br /> == Anatomy ==<br /> <br /> The &#039;&#039;&#039;supratrochlear nerve&#039;&#039;&#039; passes above the pulley of the [[superior oblique]], and gives off a descending filament that joins the [[infratrochlear branch]] of the [[nasociliary nerve]]. It then exits the orbit between the pulley of the [[superior oblique]] and the [[supraorbital nerve]], and divides into two branches.<br /> <br /> == Function ==<br /> <br /> The &#039;&#039;&#039;supratrochlear nerve&#039;&#039;&#039; supplies the skin of the lower part of the forehead and the upper eyelid.
