Phi Delta Chi was established by 11 men at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. The founders were Albert Benjamin Prescott, Franklin Herbert Frazee, Llewellyn Hall Gardner, Calvin Pomeroy Godfrey, Adolph Gustave Hoffman, Arthur Gilliam Hopper, Charles Edward Bond, George Pawling Leamon, Arthur Sidney Rogers, Azor Thurston, and Charles F. Hueber. The fraternity was originally named Phi Chi, but due to a conflict with a medical fraternity of the same name, it was changed to Phi Delta Chi in 1910.&lt;br /&gt;
