[[Peter Dinklage]] (born June 11, 1969) is an American actor and producer. He gained international recognition and acclaim for his role as [[Tyrion Lannister]] on the [[HBO]] television series ''[[Game of Thrones]]'' (2011–2019), for which he won four [[Primetime Emmy Awards]] and a [[Golden Globe Award]].

== Early Life ==
Peter Hayden Dinklage was born in [[Morristown, New Jersey]], and grew up in [[Brookside, New Jersey]]. He was born with [[achondroplasia]], a common form of [[dwarfism]].
