Myelocytes are derived from [[promyelocytes]]. They are smaller than promyelocytes. They show large oval nucleus and loose chromatin. The cytoplasm is filled with specific granules (neutrophilic, eosinophilic, or basophilic). Myelocytes do not have nucleoli.<br />

== Types ==<br />
