Ibrahim ibn Muhammad was the son of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and his wife Maria al-Qibtiyya. He was born in Medina in the year 630 CE and died in 632 CE.

Early Life
Ibrahim was born in the city of Medina, which was the center of the early Muslim community. His mother, Maria al-Qibtiyya, was a Coptic Christian slave who was gifted to Muhammad by the ruler of Egypt, Muqawqis.

Family
Ibrahim was the only son of Muhammad and Maria al-Qibtiyya. Muhammad had other children with his first wife, Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, including his daughters Fatimah, Zainab, Ruqayyah, and Umm Kulthum.

Death
Ibrahim ibn Muhammad died at a young age, around 16 or 18 months old. His death was a significant event in the life of Muhammad, who was deeply saddened by the loss of his son. The death of Ibrahim coincided with a solar eclipse, which some of Muhammad's followers interpreted as a sign of divine mourning. However, Muhammad clarified that eclipses are natural phenomena and not related to human events.

Legacy
Although Ibrahim did not live long enough to leave a direct impact, his life and death are remembered in Islamic history. His passing is often cited in discussions about the humanity of Muhammad and his experiences with personal loss.
