Hypoxia, a condition characterized by low oxygen levels, is a common feature of many [[tumors]] and can influence the effectiveness of [[radiotherapy]] and [[chemotherapy]]. === Chemical Structure === FMISO is a nitroimidazole compound labeled with the radioactive isotope [[fluorine-18]].
