Short definitiontube feeding - (pronounced) (toob-FEES-thing) A method of administering medication and liquids, including liquid foods, through a small tube inserted through the nose or mouth into the stomach or small intestine. Sometimes the tube is inserted into the stomach or small intestine through an incision (cut) on the outside of the abdomen.
