The Obesity Society (thē ō-bēs′ĭ-tē sō′sī-ĭ-tē), also known as TOS, is a scientific society dedicated to the study of obesity and its treatment. The society was founded in 1982 and has since grown to become one of the leading organizations in the field of obesity research and education.
