Targretin - (pronounced) (Tar-GREH-Tin) drug used to treat skin problems caused by cutaneous T-cell lymphoma that have not improved after another treatment. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Targretin binds to and activates proteins called retinoid X receptors, which can stop cancer cells from growing and kill them. It's a type of retinoid. Also called bexarotene and LGD1069
