Other types of small bowel cancer include sarcoma (cancer that starts in the connective or supporting tissue), carcinoid tumor (a slow-growing type of cancer), gastrointestinal stromal tumor (a type of soft tissue sarcoma), and lymphoma (cancer that starts in cells of the immune system)
