Reproducible (pronunciation: /rɪˌprəʊdjuːˈsiːbəl/) is a term used in the field of medicine, science, and statistics to describe a study or experiment that can be performed again with the same method and still produce the same results.

Etymology

The term "reproducible" comes from the Latin word "reproducibilis", which means "that can be reproduced". It is a combination of the prefix "re-" meaning "again", and "producere" meaning "to lead forth or bring forward".
