Relaxation

Relaxation (/rɪˌlæksˈeɪʃən/) is a state of low tension and freedom from mental and physical stress. It is a process that decreases the effects of stress on your mind and body.

Etymology

The term "relaxation" comes from the Latin word "relaxare" which means "to loosen, stretch out, or extend."
