Short definitionParaganglioma - (pronounced) (PAYR-uh-GANG-joy-oh-moo) rare, usually benign tumor that develops from cells in the paraganglia. Paraganglia are a collection of cells derived from embryonic neural tissue located near the adrenal glands and some blood vessels and nerves.
