November

November (pronunciation: /noʊˈvɛmbər/) is the eleventh month of the year in the Gregorian calendar and one of four Gregorian months with the length of 30 days.

Etymology

The term "November" comes from the Latin word Novembris mensis, which means "ninth month". This is because in the original Roman calendar, November was the ninth month of the year. The name was retained even after January and February were added to the calendar, making November the eleventh month.
