Nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma - (pronounced) (NAH-juh-ler LIM-foh-site-preh-DAH-mih-nunt HOJ-kin lim-FOH-muh) rare form of Hodgkin's lymphoma (a cancer of the immune system). It is characterized by the presence of lymphocyte-predominant cells, formerly called popcorn cells. These cells differ from the typical Reed-Sternberg cells found in classic Hodgkin's lymphoma. Nodular lymphocyte-dominated Hodgkin's lymphoma can transform into diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Also called LPHL, lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma and NLPHL
