Isatuximab - (pronounced) (I-suh-TUK-sih-mab) A drug used with other drugs to treat adults with multiple myeloma. It is used in patients whose cancer has already been treated with at least two therapies, including lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor. It is also used in patients whose cancer has come back (come back) or has not improved after treatment with one to three other therapies. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Isatuximab attaches to a protein called CD38, which is found on some types of immune cells and cancer cells, including myeloma cells. Isatuximab can block CD38 and help the immune system kill cancer cells. It's a type of monoclonal antibody. Also called Sarclisa
