HAS-BLED is a clinical prediction rule used to estimate the risk of bleeding in patients who are on long-term anticoagulation treatment for atrial fibrillation. The acronym stands for Hypertension, Abnormal renal/liver function, Stroke, Bleeding history or predisposition, Labile INR, Elderly (>65), and Drugs/alcohol concomitantly.
